Reasoned Adaptation

Adaptive geometry is an exclusive feature of Tierre mowers.

This technology is adopted on six product ranges in order to increase their efficiency in a reasoned way.

This is a goal that many manufacturers are trying to reach.

TIERRE, a Paduan constructor who has been building agricultural machinery since 1963, has taken this path in this extremely hard-fought sector.


Direct experience and contacts with customers led TIERRE to develop a patented solution: the ADAPTIVE GEOMETRY. This technology allows to optimize the functioning of the shredders according to its use.




Changing the configuration of the cutting chamber in 12 different shapes and combinations, each one is optimized for a different type of job.


An "ADAPTIVE GEOMETRY" that permits you to use most of the potential of the flailmower in every kind of situations: from the simple mowing of the grass to the application as stalk chopper, or the shredding of the pruning residues left on the ground.

A "REASONED ADAPTATION" that makes the user able to find the best possible configuration to finish the mulching operation perfectly, also with an important fuel saving thanks to the increase of the machine efficiency.


The TIERRE product line is divided in numerous families of machines according to the field of application.


The adaptive geometry chamber is placed in the TCL Dynamic, TLC Dynamic Super, TCL Master and TCL Pro230Puma, Pantera and Pantera Reverse.


These shredders aim to professional users who operate in different contexts but whose common goal is to optimize efficiency and quality of processing.

The adaptive geometry is further enhanced thanks to other components that make the “efficiency” their main distinctive element. These components are: the multi aggressive rotor (electronically balanced and with the optimized positioning of the knives), the new little hammers for biomass, the anti-obstruction wheel, the double shell of the cutting chamber and the reinforced sides.

A set of details that arise from listening to customers.

The multiaggressive rotor is characterized by the presence of 40 cutting tools, rather than 24 of the standard rotor, ensuring a higher rotating mass and so a high level of effectiveness.

These rotors are electronically balanced and they are fixed to the structure by double oscillating ball bearings. In this way their operation is linear and transmits the least possible stress to the structure.

The adaptive geometry considers all the components of the machine, making sure that, in a short time, they can be moved or removed in order to have a shredder optimized for different types of material.

ADAPTIVE GEOMETRY: not only shape, but flows and components

When we talk about adaptive geometry we go much deeper and we go to act on the fundamental components of the machine.

There are 12 possible configurations, thanks to the possibility of moving, removing or adjusting various components.

The effectiveness of the shredding action in the cutting chamber can be optimized according to context where the mulcher operates and the type of biomass.

By inserting a series of knives positioned in correspondence with the exit area, the shredding action is increased with a better parcelling which is appreciated even more when working in tall grass.

The supporting roller with adjustable in height scraper is turned so that it closes the exit more. This allows to have a more closed chamber which favors the continuous circulation of the parts, thus increasing the passages in contact with the hammers.

The same support can also be completely removed or moved to the fully open position.


In this configuration of the cutting chamber it is possible to operate with great working speed in contexts where it is not necessary to have a high fragmentation of the biomass or where it is very tender and therefore does not need to stay in the chamber for a long time.

With very high working speed we have a significant increase in efficiency both in terms of time and in terms of tractor consumption.

Another possibility is to move the roller closer to the action of the hammers.It leads to a greater mulching of the biomass in the cutting chamber, meanwhile a continuous self-cleaning action of the roller.

A way of working that allows you to efficiently deal with both wet biomass and branches and pruning residues, that will be left on the ground.

The removal or change of position of the elements is mechanical. This action is assisted by the quality of the structure that simplify the interaction with the shredder.

The Adaptive Geometry is a basic setting that increases the versatility of the mulcher, allowing you to operate with the same efficiency both in the open field (in conditions where is required the maximum productivity with difficult materials) and in orchards and vineyards, for pruning residues.
